Although she pleaded not guilty and the case was eventually dropped in 2013, she continued to seek attention, releasing an original song titled “Free 2 Be Me,” challenging another viral sensation, Nadya “Octomom” Suleman, to a boxing match, and even appearing in a cameo role in a gay porn film.
Interesting, huh?
Now, the woman dubbed “Tanning Mom,” has announced her bid for the 2024 Senate race in Florida as a Republican candidate, according to a report from TMZ.
Krentcil’s recent political aspirations emerged with her submission of a filing to the Federal Election Commission for her Senate campaign. She emphasized that her life has been extensively documented, and there are no hidden secrets or scandals to be exposed.
Lord have mercy… And I mean that literally.
While Krentcil is running as a Republican, her views diverge from traditional GOP stances. She identifies as pro-LGBTQ+ and expressed her willingness to support figures like RuPaul for political office, advocating for more diverse representation.
In her statement to Fox News Digital, Krentcil acknowledged that she might not possess polished political skills but asserted that, as a mother of five, she has firsthand experience with the challenges people face in Florida.
She criticized certain educational controversies in the state, such as debates over banning Shakespeare and discussions about the perceived benefits of slavery. Krentcil believes these issues distract from more pressing concerns like home insurance premiums and medical bills.
It’s highly unlikely Patricia Krentcil, a political newcomer, can secure victory against vulnerable incumbent Republican Senator Rick Scott. Nevertheless, she is determined to prove herself capable of the role, highlighting her personal transformation and a newfound focus on responsible behavior.
In summary, Patricia Krentcil, known for her “Tanning Mom” persona, is entering the political arena as a Republican candidate for the 2024 Senate race in Florida.
